SPJIMR Students Learn the Power of Human Spirit/Mind from Special Kids at Ehsaas 2007

In a 26 mile marathon, a runner sprints the first 5 miles on his physical strength, the next 5 miles on his training, but he can run the rest only on the basis of his mental strength and will. No physical strength can ever match the power of the human will. No disability can ever block the path of a flowing river of passion, enthusiasm and determination.
This is what "Ehsaas" is all about.

An event organized by the Development of Corporate Citizenship (DOCC) Cell of the S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, "Ehsaas" is a forum where the participants of the B-school interact and mingle with differently-abled children, not to sympathize with them or pity them but to learn from them the power of the human spirit / mind and will. To play with them, laugh with them, dance with them, sing with them and just to be with them to make them feel that they are as important a part of this society as we all are.

SPJIMR Students at Ehsaas 2007

Through such socially conscientious events and initiatives, SPJIMR, the nation's premier management institute continues to be dedicated towards reaching out and helping the mentally and physically-challenged people achieve their potential. It is a tribute to their perseverance, determination and spirit. SPJIMR believes that physically-challenged persons are assets of the nation and need to be protected and nurtured to grow and prosper. The nation's premier business school deems that management education must play a crucial role in fulfilling the expectations of the society with great sensitivity and responsiveness.
