Signs Agreements with B-Schools in Pakistan & South Africa among others

"We see this partnership with the ISB as a key development for our focus on developing business leaders for emerging economies. In particular the lessons learnt from the success of the Indian and Chinese economies will be particularly beneficial to leadership on the African continent," said Elspeth Donovan, MBA Director, Graduate School of Business, University of Capetown, South Africa.

The ISB will continue to make learning through these programmes truly global by building partnerships with B-schools from both the developed and emerging economies. Apart from the 11 B-schools, the ISB is in serious discussions with more top B-schools including top universities in Australia, USA, China, Singapore, and others.

Apart from having student exchange agreements, the ISB also invites B-schools to send their students on 'India Study Tours'. Last year, the ISB hosted professionals and students from The Wharton School, Thunderbird University, Darden School of Business Administration, Kansas University, and Bocconi University, Italy.

Students at the ISB come with prior work experience which adds considerable value to the experience of international exposure through Exchange Programmes. This experience provides further enhancement to the 20% of ISB students who come with international work experience. Together with the ISB faculty drawn from top B-schools from countries across the world, the one-year post graduate management programme makes a truly international education accessible to students from India and Asia.

Concluded.
