Annual Event "Aarambh '07" Celebrated at Symbiosis InfoTech Campus

Life and work schedule at B-schools is really rigorous! But if you think a good B-school is about this rigorous, brain-storming, crazy presentations and sleepless nights only, then hold on!!! In Symbiosis, the colours of life are vibrant as well.

The annual event "AARAMBH" which symbolizes energy of juniors and offers a grand welcome to the seniors of SIIB, SCMHRD and SCIT, got celebrated on Saturday, July 07, 2007, at Symbiosis InfoTech Campus (SIC) - the home of SIIB, SCMHRD and SCIT. This event puts a common platform for juniors of all three colleges to showcase their skills in a healthy environment and provides a great opportunity to enjoy; for both juniors and seniors.

This year the event begun with a thought to promote co-operation and association and idolizing the spirit of "Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam". Lamp-lighting was done by Director, SCIT and Chief Administrative Officer, SIC, assisted her. Ganpati Vandana paid homage to God and the inaugural dance put forward the respect for our motherland.

SCIT performed a skit showcasing the real spirit of "Aamchi Mumbai", that this city can bear all kind of shocks and then comes back to life. In continuation, Fashion Show had the theme of '7 Wonders of the World' celebrating the entry of the monument of love 'Taj Mahal' into the new seven wonders of the world.

All were mesmerized by the performance of SIIB juniors who first presented the instrumental 'Ye Dosti Hum Nahin Todenge' with guitar and mouth organ. The song represents the spirit of friendship and the buddy-system that prevails in SIIB. The audience sang along, cheering them all through their performance.

Later an impeccable Jive changed the environment completely and the enthusiasm of the audience had no bounds. Fashion Show by SIIB was a combination of dance and ramp walk and had the theme of India's cultural diversity, which makes her unique. Dance was the last event which was really mind boggling performance of the day. It brought everyone on their feet along with the guests. It was a blend of Bhangra with Indi-pop and all the dancers thrilled the audience with their enigmatic movements.

Finally, SCMHRD came on stage with a series of latest dancing numbers and made the environment high with high beats as the event approached its end. Finally Dr. Kedar Tambe concluded the event by performing 'Ye Dosti' song along with all the students.

The event provides a grand platform to the students of these three colleges to put forward their talents not just through performances but through their whole and sole management of the event as well. There can't be any better way to welcome the seniors and to showcase the talents in a very energetic environment.
