XLRI-Jamshedpur Announces XAT 2008 Exam Dates

One of the most prestigious institutes of India Xavier Labour Research Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur has announced dates for Xavier Admission Test popularly known as XAT.

XAT 2008 will be held on Sunday, January 06, 2008. The online registration for XAT & XLRI will start from September 1, 2007. Last date of registration in XAT is November 30.

XAT comprises three objective type sections and an essay writing section as follows: -

Verbal Reasoning (English) - Objective Type Multiple Choice

Quantitative Ability & Reasoning (Maths) - Objective Type Multiple Choice

Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning - Objective Type Multiple Choice

Essay Writing

The duration for the objective type section is 120 minutes and extra 15 minutes are provided at the end of the 2 hours for the essay writing.

XAT has been conducted by XLRI in the month of January every year. Now, XAT Scores are accepted by some other top institutes also like Xavier Institute of Management Bhuneshwar (XIMB), Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Goa Institute of Management (GIM), Goa, Academy of Business Studies, Bhubneshwar, Bharathidasan Institute of Management, Tiruchirapalli, S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. Last year, 35 other management institutes selected new students using XAT 2007 Scores.
