This in turn has spawned greater competition and a quick replication of every success - requiring businesses to generate sustainable innovation to stay ahead of the pack. Businesses, both large and small, are adopting new methodologies, strategies, and practices on an unprecedented scale.

Clearly, these changes are here to stay. Our second global management summit will explore these trends and discuss the causes of the shift, the path which lies ahead, and try to predict where it can lead us.

The Global Management Summit is sponsored by International Business Wales and HSBC South Asian Business Unit, and is supported by Imperial College London. The Summit will feature business leaders and expert practitioners with 400 delegates in attendance - about half of which will be from outside the IIM alumni network - across sectors such as financial services, IT & telecom, consulting, FMCG, energy, and government & academics.

The 2007 summit are following on the footsteps of the previous year’s summit which was immensely successful and had participation from eminent leaders such as the Indian High Commissioner to the UK, Sunil Mittal (CEO, Bharti Enterprises), Lord Rothschild, Vindi Banga (President, Unilever), Ian Barlow (Sr. Partner, KPMG), Samir Bhatia (MD, Barclays Bank Plc.), Ravi Mattu (MD, Lehman Brothers), Ashok Aram (MD, Deutsche Bank), Sylvia De Vogue (MD, Hay Group), Tiger Tyagarajan (Director, Genpact) and Lord Karan Billimoria (Founder, Cobra Beer).
