Landmark MOU Signed Between SP Jain-Dubai & Australian Univeristy

S. P. Jain Center of Management, Dubai has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Asia Pacific International College (APIC), Sydney, Australia to establish a world-class International Center of Excellence in Project Management (PM) in Dubai.

With this MOU, APIC in association with SP Jain Dubai will deliver corporate training, projects and program health checks and consulting services to clients in the Gulf Region.

Prof. Christopher Abraham, Sr. Vice President, signed on behalf of the S. P. Jain Center of Management & Prof. Ali Al Jaafari, President, signed on behalf of the APIC at a ceremony on 11th October 2007, at the S. P. Jain's Dubai International Academic city campus.

This move marks the first collaboration of this nature in the region. The MOU seeks to formalise and strengthen the relationship between the two leading institutions which will be instrumental to regional development. It is envisaged that this agreement will encompass delivery of a range of programs from short to long term duration in Project Management.

"S. P. Jain's closer collaboration with APIC will result in the enhancement of the capacity in the Gulf region of both institutions to attain the common objective of ensuing economic growth and social development. This joint initiative will ensure that the industry professionals are equipped with the latest tools, techniques & methodologies for projects," said Prof. Christopher, Sr. Vice President, S. P. Jain Centre of Management, Dubai.
