IMI-Delhi Rides High on PPO & PPI Offers

The International Management Institute established in 1981 in collaboration with the then IMI-Geneva and now IMD-Lausane is the first corporate sponsored institute of India. Located by the side of lush green Sanjay Van and known for one of the finest
intellectual capital amongst the 1200+ business schools of India, the IMI-Delhi campus has much more to offer than just the top quality management education. The campus has had one of the best performance in terms of the PPOs (Pre Placement Offers) and the PPIs (Pre-Placement Interview Offers) for the current academic year.

IMI scholars, who will graduate in the year 2008, have outshone their counterparts from the other ivy league institutes in India by getting 24 offers (till date) from few of the best MNCs both in India and abroad. For sales and marketing profiles, the offers have come from companies like Asian Paints Ltd., CEAT, Spencers Group and Tata Motors amongst others. For the finance and operations profiles, there are offers from MB Holdings (Muscat), Dr. Reddy's, First Source Solutions, DCM Shriram Consolidated Ltd., Grail Research, KEC International, etc., whereas for the HR profiles, there are offers from Enact, Vedanta Group, MB Holdings (Muscat).

There has been a rise in the number of offers with more than 13% of the batch getting PPOs and PPIs (till date). The International Management Institute has been ranked in 2007 as one of the super league B-schools of India at par to the IIMs by the most-coveted survey of India done by AIMA.

The students from IMI have organized various mega events this year; few of them are Kritva 2007 (the annual cultural fest), Srijan 2007 (the annual marketing summit), Prahelika 2007 (the annual finance summit), The HR Summit 2007, Empezar 2007 (the annual entrepreneurship summit).

International Management Institute has started its journey and is all set to be known as one of the ivy league management institutes in the world. There have been alumni reunions in the top metros of India as well as at international locations (US, UK and Middle East) in the year 2007. The placement season starts in January 2008 and the institute is expecting few of the best placements this year.

Concluded.
