Graduation Ceremony of PGCBM & PGPMI Students Held at XIM, Bhubaneswar

The Graduation Ceremony of the 3rd Batch of PGCBM and 1st Batch of PGPMI students of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar was held recently at the Institute's auditorium. XIM-B, a premier business school of India, has been developing

various innovative programmes for working executives as well as aspiring management professionals in the fields of management and insurance. The Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Business Management (PGCBM) is a state-of-the-art management programme which leverages technology enabled learning using VSAT technology and provides high quality management education to working professionals across the country. The Post Graduate Programme in Management & Insurance (PGPMI) is another programme from XIM-B which has been offered in collaboration with ICICI Prudential, a premier life insurance company of India. ICICI Prudential provides placement support to the graduating students as well.

The Graduation Ceremony saw 106 PGCBM students and 56 PGPMI students being awarded their respective graduating certificates. There were also six gold medals which were awarded to the top rankers among the PGCBM and PGPMI graduating students. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Shri Bhushen L. Raina, the Managing Director of Tinplate Company of India (TCIL), which is a Tata Group enterprise. Shri Raina is acknowledged as one of the most successful leaders in the Tata Group, and is credited with using the Tata Business Excellence Model template to engineer a turn-around of the Tinplate Company of India (TCIL).
