A status note and a short video documentary on MDG 3 was presented by Prof. S. Peppin, XIM-B and Mr. Prosun Sen, UNICEF, respectively, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Reeta Ray, Utkal University.

The members, who participated in the panel discussion are, Mr. Zob Zachariah, UNICEF, Ms. Bobby Pattnaik, Infosys, Ms. Birajalashmi Sarangi, IPE, Prof. Achuta Nanda Mishra, L. J. Publication, Ms. Kalpana, CYSD, Dr. B. B. Mohanty and Dr. Amrita Patel, Utkal University, and Ms. Niharika Sahoo, STRC (XIM-B). Faculty members from XIM-B, Human Development Foundation (HDF), Utkal University and other members from civil society, media and UNICEF also participated and offered their views.

Later Dr. Mamata Mishra, Senior Research Assistant, XIM-B proposed vote of thanks.
