IIM Lucknow rolls out plan for Manfest 2006 with the launch of website Manfest, the Annual International Business Event of IIM Lucknow is a platform for collaborative learning between the academia, the corporate world and B-school students from across the globe. Manfest 2006, that is scheduled on January 20-22, 2006, shall play host to some of the top leaders in the world from diverse fields. As Dr. Sengar, Chairman Students' Affairs, IIM Lucknow puts it - "Manfest shall witness the best brains of the world pitted against each other in a series of consulting assignments. The best among them will get an opportunity to consult top business houses." The event has already kicked off with the launch of the website www.iimlmanfest.com which has received over 1,50,000 website clicks in the first 15 days of its launch. A first at Manfest is 'Karvy Go Trade' which is an opportunity for business school students to trade on a real time basis on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). With around 900 participants, the trading contest is expected to witness an unprecedented Rs. 1.25 Crore influx in the stock markets. With real life consulting, Business quiz by a top anchor, interactive sessions by leaders, informal cultural events and an opportunity to rub shoulders with the brightest minds in the country, Manfest shall create a new dimension for events of this kind.
