Day 3 Reverberates With a Delightful Mix of Work & Play at Intaglio 2005-06 at IIM Calcutta
Day 3 Report

Previous

Neil Simon based the play on his brother Danny's true-life experience. The play is currently enjoying a critically acclaimed run on Broadway with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick in the lead roles.

The performance by the IIMC Dramatics Cell was a runaway success, with accolades coming thick and fast. The cast and crew received praise for the professionalism with which the play was staged and the uniformly good performances by the actors. "I was simply floored," remarked one viewer. The production team deserved all the credit it received for the fabulous sets and lighting. There was an international flavour to the gathered audience as participants in Intaglio 2005-06 came together for a night of welcome respite from the gruelling schedule of the business meet.

This was followed by performance by the college band JBS Baro-C, which dished out feet-tapping numbers that kept all students dancing till wee hours in the morning.

Concluded.
