AIMA - INFOSYS Business Simulation Game - 2002 The National AIMA - INFOSYS business simulation game - 2002, concluded its all India Finals seeing Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University as the National Winner and the teams from GRD, Coimbatore came second among 147 teams from more than 70 top B-schools from all over India. The National AIMA - INFOSYS business simulation game - 2002, invited the teams to create a business strategy for the industry assigned, keeping in mind the economy scenario, competitor strategy and business environment. An interesting aspect was that each team had a CEO, CFO, CMO, COO, and together they had to decide on a course of action involving sales distribution system, pricing, marketing, investments, etc., and build a strategy that would maximize profits for their company in the industry, which could range from Book Value per share to Net Worth. There were three rounds - preliminary, regional and the All India finals. The regional rounds were held in New Delhi, Indore and Coimbatore. In the nationals, 11 teams participated and included teams from IIM-C, FMS, and MDI. The winning FMS team comprised of Jaideep Singh Kalra, Amar Goenka, Ashish Parti, and Gautam Kainth. Every round had the teams facing a simulation of a particular industry. In the prelims, it was the steel industry, while in the regional finals, it was the mineral water industry.
