Press Release A moment of great pride for Bharathidasan Institute of Management, Tiruchirapalli, at the ET in the classroom Quiz conducted in Chennai on the 19th of December, 2003 as Mr. Sabarish and Mr.Aditya clinch the winner's title .The event was huge - a footfall of 193 teams - sponsored by CTS and conducted by quizmaster Giri "Pickbrain" Balasubramanian from Greycaps.. It was a storming session with all the teams qualifying to the finals from their respective regional rounds. The Team from BIM qualified in the Trichy regional round. In the Trichy Round, with 193 teams, BIM was leading from the front having sent 2 teams to the podium of the qualifying itself. The other teams were from NIT (previously REC) Trichy and other leading B-Schools from Tamil nadu. It was a storming session of who's, when's, what's and why's as the atmosphere around MOP Vaishnab College for women. The venue for the Grand Finals at Chennai was electric. The regional round at Trichy was completely dominated by the two teams from BIM (only two teams per college allowed) and the audience swept the prizes galore. There was an air of celebration as the students gobbled up question after another. The finals held at Chennai had a nail-biting finish with the victorious team making the most at the final round.
