IRIS 2003
presents
Ashwamedha
The battleground for aspiring corporate Leaders
Ashwamedha is the flagship event of IRIS, the corporate management fest of IIM Indore
The event, which started in 2000, has evolved from being a routine test of academic and extra-curricular skills, to being a test of endurance, spirit, decision-making and team skills in various simulated corporate situations.
The event has three phases:
Phase I
This will be completely online round where participants will be asked to provide solutions to two cases designed on practical issues facing Indian Industry. Both the cases as well as the guidelines can be downloaded from www.iimidr.ac.in/iris (please click on Ashwamedha)
20 finalists will be short listed from the initial round and will be invited to our campus on the 13th and 14th of November 2003 during the time of the management festival.
Phase II
This round, which will be held on campus, will comprise presentations, management games and other analytical tests. The objective will be to test the ability of the individual to deal with stressful corporate situations. Details will be disclosed on campus.
Phase III
Five contestants make it to this round after having gone through phase II. This will be a strategy round that would involve decision-making on a corporate level where each minute detail can be decisive. The rule is simple - mortal combat.
All the rounds will be evaluated by an eminent panel drawn from both academia and industry.
IIM Indore invites all you people out there to contest and make your mark.
There all lots of prizes in store, the winner taking home the Ashwamedha trophy and 40,000 rupees in cash. There will be prizes for the runners-up and the remaining three finalists as well.
