"Manovritti - Building Partnerships" "I am what I am because of the people around me." Majority of us believe in this fact and want to contribute towards society but cannot do it due to some constraints. All of us, in varying degrees have an innate inclination towards transforming society; yet believe ourselves to be powerless in the grand scheme of things. However, some of us want to make that extra effort, walk that extra mile to make things happen. Here is an opportunity for all such people to contribute and make a change in our collective destiny. S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research in a pioneering effort endeavors to create the much-required platform for interaction between Non government organizations (NGO's) and the Corporate Sector. Manovritti aims at aligning the industry and NGO perspective over addressing social issues. It is a platform where both these sectors can help in solving each others problem and the symbiosis can create mutual benefit. The objectives of Manovritti are:
Conference agenda: Pragati: The session will feature presentations of some of the best projects implemented by SPJIMR-DOCC over the past ten years. This will be followed by the feedback from organizations and the beneficiaries of these projects, enabling SPJIMR in positioning its endeavor in the social sector. Pranati: This session will feature an interactive panel discussion to provide a platform for NGO's and corporates to share their experiences and learn together. Eminent speakers, through their expertise, would highlight important issues and discuss the best practices. Smt Rajashree Birla will be the chief guest. More than 250 eminent personalities from the NGO and the corporate sector are going to grace the occasion with their presence.
