SPJIMR PGDIT Students Shine at IMT Ghaziabad

The Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT) program offered by Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan’s S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai, is an endeavour to address the diverse needs of IT industry. The program grooms graduates to take on challenging assignments in the IT industry to design, develop, deliver and maintain international quality solutions for IT enabled businesses.

IT professional undoubtedly need qualities like intelligence, competitiveness, speed, accuracy, determination and diligence. The dynamic nature of developments both in software and practices in deploying IT solutions demand that the IT professionals ought to be good team workers who can synergistically channelise their efforts to integrate multitude of modules across platforms to orchestrate comprehensive solutions.

These are precisely the skills for which participants of the PGDIT batch 5 program at SPJIMR are honed. Their stupendous performance at WizeByte2K4, an all India technical symposium hosted by IMT PGDCA between Feb. 26-28, 2004, Ghaziabad exemplifies the same. Standing overall second amongst a number of colleges, the SPJIMR team, TARANG, won 12 trophies for various technical and non-technical events, making a mark at the competition. All the events demanded round the clock team­work, many events scheduled to run through the nights. The experience was an enriching one, providing a platform to pitch the PGDIT@SPJIMR team against colleges coming from the length and breadth of the country. The participants proved their mettle highlighting the qualities being instilled into them during the course duration at SPJIMR.
