XLRI Student Conferred Larry K. Wilson Award

Mr. Turra has also jointly bagged the first prize in paper presentation at the All India Students Congress (2002) in Trivandrum for his paper titled "Electrical Conduction in DNA" and was awarded the Dr. J. K. Pal Memorial Award for best student volunteer by IEEE Delhi Section.

An elated Mr. Turra said, "A long cherished dream came true for me with the IEEE Region 10 Student Activities Chair, Prof Marzuki Khalid informing me about being declared the winner for the Larry K. Wilson Award for Region 10 (Asia-Pacific) for the year 2002."

Mr. Turra feels that the guidance and support received from the IEEE Delhi section and India Council helped him in getting this coveted award. With the Larry K. Wilson Award, Mr. Turra joins the prestigious club of IEEE awardees across the world.
