 | August 30,2013 02:35 pm IST

The One Year MBA trend is cooming to India. ISB Hyderabad was the pioneer in launching One Year MBA.

Now this program is offered in India by ISB, XLRI, IIM-A & S.P.JAIN. Few more institutes are also coming up with One Year MBA.

The approximate full MBA course fees are 14 lakhs at ISB Hydrabad, 2.5 lakhs at XLRI and 7.5 lakhs at IIM-A.

One Year MBA is an excellent value proposition for those who have left their jobs for higher studies. It takes into account the substantial and varied experience the selected executives bring to the classroom.

At XLRI, the One Year MBA group composition is of high achievers with 3 to 20 years of experience in domains like Marketing, Finance, HR, IT, R&D, Operations, and they are from various industry sectors like, Software, Steel, Consumer durables, FMCG, Banking, Petrochemical, Telecom, BPO, Media, Indian Army, etc. Students are from middle management to senior management level. Each student brings strengths to the program, enriching the learning experience for everyone in the class, sharing his/her experiences & challenges faced in industry.

To succeed in this accelerated and challenging program, you need the right combination of motivation, determination, skills and academic ability.

I am sharing some of the details of GMP program at XLRI for those who are planning for an MBA.
