While Goodlass Nerolac is well on its way to implementing the score card, having selected 25 objectives with a board consensus within the organization, TCS is looking at a higher level of sophistication by integrating activity-based costing (ABC) and Economic Value Added (EVA) with the scorecard.

d) Rock water, a wholly owned subsidiary of Brown & Root / Holliburton, a global construction company is a worldwide leader in under-water engineering & construction, transformed its vision and strategy into the Balanced Score Card's four set of performance measures.

e) Apple Computer developed a Balance Score Card to focus senior management on a strategy that would expand discussion beyond gross margin, return on equity and market share.

f) Advanced Micro Device (AMD), a semi conductor company, executed a quick and easy transition to a Balanced Score Card. At present, AMD sees its Score Card as a systematic repository for strategic information that facilitates long-term trend analysis for planning and performance evaluation.

g) FMC Corporation is one of the most diversified companies in the United States, based in Chicago. FMC has worldwide revenues in excess of $4 billion. Since 1984, the company has realized annual return on investment (ROI) of greater than 15% coupled with a major re-capitalization in 1986. These returns resulted in an increasing share holder value that significantly excluded industrial average.4

Our Approach

We may take an example in India, where it is written in a box of medicine, that it contained gatifloxacin but inside the capsule, it is ciprofloxacin. Due to low price of the product, it able to take the market share and also it will take care of customer perspective and financial perspectives.
