Growth of population has failed to give impetus to economic growth in the advanced economy of the U.S.A. and the underdeveloped economy in India in recent years. It has only added to unemployment in these countries.

Economic growth in India has been slow. Its effect on adjustment of attitude to the new situation has been similar. Growth of population has resulted in ever increasing unemployment. New avenues for employment after globalisation have been short. Frustration pervades all. Official line treats symptoms, leaves the disease alone. Remedy lies in effective use of human and other resources to raise the rate of economic growth rapidly.
