Business Process Transformation (BPT)

Business Process Transformation is the approach that stands for fundamental rethinking and redesign of business processes to achieve consistent improvements in parameters such as cost, quality, service and speed.

A business process is the integration of rules, methodologies, technology, people, infrastructure and management techniques required for a organization to perform. These processes need timely revisions to consistently deliver a lean and speedy execution.

Business Process Transformation means not only change -- but dramatic change. But overnight changes might act as a deterrent to smooth absorption by people and hence might not succeed. Correct approach to transforming business processes is holistic and spiral in nature and needs continuous re-engineering of processes to incorporate the best business practices.
