Stages in an HRIS implementation:

An HRIS implementation for an organization can be divided into three distinct phases discussed below.

1. Pre-Implementation Stage:

The following are some of the important functions performed during the implementation stage. In this case, the functions represent the perspective of the software company that is implementing the solution.

3. Post-Implementation Stage:

One important thing that must be noted is that, the various functions mentioned in each of the above stages are not sequential and are not exhaustive. There might be other functions in each of the stages; however the ones enumerated above are the indicative ones.

Having identified the various stages of an HRIS implementation, the following section attempts to discuss the scopes and possibilities for business for the Indian IT firms in each of these stages.
