BITS announces admissions for higher degree & PHD programs, II semester 2010-11 for Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad campuses

 BITS Pilani invites applications for admission in the II Semester 2010-11 starting from January 2011 to the following programs.


1.

Higher Degree Programs (M. E and M. Pharm) at Pilani Campus
M. E in Chemical, Civil (with specialization in Structural Engineering/Infrastructure Systems); Communication Engineering; Computer Science; Mechanical Engineering; Software Systems; and M. Pharm.

 

2. Higher Degree Programs (M. E) at K. K. Birla Goa Campus
M. E. in Biotechnology; Chemical; Design Engineering; Embedded Systems; Software Systems.
Eligibility : Candidates obtaining a minimum of aggregate 60% marks in the qualifying degree examination.

 

3. Ph.D Programs at BITS Campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad
Eligibility : M. E./M.Pharm/MBA/M.Phil of BITS or its equivalent with minimum of 60% aggregate in he qualifying examination. Any applicant with an M.Sc/B. E./ B. Pharm or their equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate may be considered for Ph.D. admission but has to do prescribed additional course work. Industries and R & D organizations collaborating with BITS can sponsor candidates to work for Ph. D. under the “Ph.D.
Aspirants Scheme”.

 

Applicants for admission to the Higher Degree and Ph.D. programs will be considered for financial assistance in the form of Teaching/Project/Research Assistantships.
