In order to get real insight about the MBA admission process at JBIMS, Mumbai, CoolAvenues.com decided to speak to Mukund Umesh Thakkar about his experience regarding getting in JBIMS, how to tackle exam, choosing coaching Institute and managing GD, PI and life at JBIMS post admission.

A chemical engineer from Mumbai University, Mukund Umesh Thakkar followed his passion and joined JBIMS right after completing engineering. “I was always interested in management education. So immediately after my engineering, there was no doubt about joining an MBA program. The cross functional expertise required to work in the corporate world would be gained from an MBA, I believed,” says Mukund.

IIMs were never Mukund’s priority. He wrote CAT and identified JBIMS as his prime destination for various parameters such as academics, alumni support and the esteemed faculty. “I feel proud to have landed up in the destination which was the only one I tried for,” says a pompous Mukund.
