The admission process for MMS programmes of b-schools under Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Government of Maharashtra may get delayed due to the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) scheduled in May 2013..

The interview process that started in the second week of May last year will probably begin from the last week this year, as the result of May CMAT will be declared June 1, 2013. However, a final decision in this matter is to be arrived by the end of this month.

JBIMS Mumbai—one of the most reputed b-schools in India, have declared to abide by DTE directives. However, KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai has made clear that the school will use May CMAT results only for their MMS program but not the PGDM program.

About 67,000 students have applied for May CMAT.
