The second edition of AICTEs Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) started yesterday to continue till October 1. According to test takers at various test centres in Delhi / NCR region, technical glitches did happen at some test centres and the test paper also posed certain wrong questions.

While some test taker found Logic Section a bit difficult, for others Quant was tougher. Ritu Sethi, a test taker at a test centre in New Delhi said, Quant was a bit tough for me, but as a whole the exam looked easy and there were no surprise questions in the paper. It was just as expected.

However, another candidate at a test centre in Noida stated that there were a few incorrect questions in the paper.

A technical nag was reported from Era Business School, New Delhi, where server failed for a few minutes, but fortunately no loss of data occurred. The server failed while candidates were submitting roll numbers before entering the examination hall. According to another candidate, the server also went down during the test twice and the second time students were asked to login again to take test. Extra fifteen minutes were allowed to compensate the loss of time due to technical faults.

The second slot paper was similar to the first slot paper with the Quant section being easy. Students have had problems in the GK section.

According to a test taker, the paper was comparatively lengthy. The logic and verbal sections were particularly lengthy. When asked about difficulty level, he said, The paper was easy. The GK section however was of moderate difficulty level. Students who read newspapers regularly will find it doable.

There were no sectional timers and students could go back to attempt unattempted questions.
