Job Description:

As the Policy, Processes & Services Lead, this position is the custodian of remuneration and local benefits and guidelines for the Organisation Business Service Centre in Chennai and responsible for the design and delivery of policies and processes, in alignment with Group Policies and ensure alignment with Organisation India policy where applicable.

This role has the following dimensions:

1. Policy, Processes and Services activities for the Chennai Business Center.

2. Managing a proximate organisation to deliver HR Services to employees in Chennai Business Center.

3. Improving HR systems and processes - Organisation People data integrity, HR MI Reporting and participation in global SBSC PPS projects and coordination as required.

4. Drive implementation of new processes and policies

5. Proactively manage pay pressures in the external shared services market and stay ahead of external trends

6. Provide strong policy support and remove any challenges to talent attraction and retention problems to ensure business continuity and sustainability

Position description - Accountabilities:

1. Develop, implement and maintain local HR policies for Chennai Business Center, in line with Group/Country policy. This includes general terms and conditions of employment.

2. Working closely with Global Policy Advisor for and Organisation India Central Policy team in annual salary survey and recommend changes to remuneration and benefits programme for all local staff, taking into consideration local shared services market employment and remunerations trends and comparators practices.

3. Communicate and Implement Group Processes and Policy, People Survey).

Focal point for :

1. Job evaluation

2. HR Service Desk interface.

3. HR Mgr annual T&R exercise focusing on manpower cost assumption.

4 .Provide advice to HRAMs on HR policy and remuneration and benefits matters.

5. Provide guidance to business and HR community on policy implementation and adaptation where applicable and ensure compliance and consistency in the implementation and maintenance of global HR policies and processes.

6. Ensure country specific HR policies and processes are properly managed/configured within SP/HR Online and other systems as appropriate.

7. Contribute to various Organisation People related activities, projects and processes: Data quality, data privacy, employee presence check, leave management, etc

8. Produce HR related management information for the centre. Support data analysis and interrogation via HR Reporting tool as required.

Candidate Profile:

Qualification-MBA in HR from a B School.

Desired Experience:
Relevant experience in Policy/Services will be an advantage.
