Counseling workers on :

- Understanding rights and privileges.
Advising the management on matters of :
- Formulating welfare policies.
- Apprenticeship training programmes.
- Meeting statutory obligations to workers.
- Developing fringe benefits: and
- Worker’s education & use of communication media.
Establishing Liaison with the management to :
- Appreciate the workers viewpoint on various matters.
- Intervene on behalf of the workers in matters under the consideration of the management:
- Help different department heads to meet their obligations:
- Maintain harmonious industrial relations in the plant; and
- Suggest measures for the promotion of the general well-being of workers.
Working with the management & workers to:
- Maintain harmonious industrial relations in the plant:
- Arrange prompt redressal of grievances and speedy settlement ;and
- Improve the productivity & productive efficiency of the enterprise.
Working with the public to :
- Secure a proper enforcement of the various provisions of the Acts as applicable to the plant by establishing contact with Factory Inspectors ,Medical Officers .
