Job Description:

V Resorts is looking for Marketing Head.

What if you could work on creating the next big brand? Be the guy behind creating that perfect message that would appeal to millions? Bring a truly novel approach to the much sought after (though done to death) travel sector?

We are V Resorts, the next big chain of resorts after Taj, Oberoi, Neemrana and Mahindras of the world…and we have a novel concept. For we are not only developing resorts, we are creating new destinations for tourism in the country. Resorts that are in offbeat locales, near metros, run and supported by local communities. The idea is for professionals like ourselves to have various choices for taking a break from our city lives. To enjoy nature, go back to our roots and understand local culture. To truly experience each place, its people and stories and live the diversity of our country.

We’ve been recognized by UN for our efforts in sustainable tourism and by the Ministry, considering a 4/5 star rating for a sector which has never received any rating at all... We’re fortunate that venture capitalists have supported our vision and we boast of 11 new destinations in and around Delhi so far. The next crop is planned for Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Andhra. The goal you see, is to expand fast, add 50+ new destinations to our portfolio and be a Pan-Indian presence.

So what’s the aim? To become a Pan-Indian presence. For you, that translates into a simple goal – when someone thinks of taking a break, they need to think V Resorts. You have all the tools to achieve this – online marketing strategies, events, below the line activities and the entire gamut. Of course limited budgets... Don’t forget we are still a start up which means we cant have Salman Khan advertising for us just yet!

We feel that to achieve all this, a prior marketing / branding experience of 3-4 years is a must, though not specifically in the travel domain. An entrepreneurial bent of mind so that you can get the job done on limited budgets. Data crunching and analytics is a must. It’s the way our organization is built and we shall be measuring ROI on each strategy put in place. But the most important attribute - passion, excitement & enthusiasm of a free-spirited traveler!
