Interview with Director, JIM-Noida

Previous

What kind of background and profile do you prefer in students?

Candidates from all walks of life / disciplines with a consistent track record of academic performance and an aptitude to become a successful Manager / Entrepreneur.

Diverse Mix of Students at JIM, Noida

What is the cut-off CAT (or other exams which JIM accepts) percentile at JIM, Noida?

It will vary from batch to batch.

What advice would you like to give people who might have a good CAT score but not so good past academic performance in past?

We encourage candidates with a good CAT score to prefer our institute for pursuing their MBA studies, if they are serious about learning from the experienced faculty at an institute with a strong industry linkage. We seriously consider candidates who are consistent in their academic background (need not be toppers throughout), and also those who have shown promise of improving their academic performance subsequently in their studies. Candidates with good track record in sports and extra-curricular are given due consideration.

What about Group Discussion and Personal Interview, what kind of weightage is given to GD and interview?

Past Academic record / work experience: 10%
Group Discussion: 10%
Personal Interview: 20%
