Final Placements 2004 @ IIM Kozhikode Finance: A good mix of banking and financial services companies lined up to recruit graduating students. Investment bank Morgan Stanley debuted at IIMK this year. Other first timers were B&K Securities, CRISIL and Iffco Tokio. Prominent among the older recruiters were GE Capital, Kotak Mahindra, UTI Bank, STCI and Power Finance Corporation. The Aditya Birla Group also offered roles in corporate finance. Systems and Consulting: The IT arena witnessed the most action as a plethora of Indian and multinational companies vied for the talent at IIMK. A record 14 offers were made by Infosys, visiting IIMK for the first time. It was closely followed by Wipro (12), Digital (8) and CSC (5). Other notable first time recruiters were Accenture, Covansys and Microsoft Corporation. Regular recruiters like CSC India, HCL Technologies, Polaris, TCS, Patni Computers and Ramco Systems also offered attractive roles. General Management, Operations & HR: Past recruiters like GECIS, British Oxygen, Air India, TVS Motors, Ashok Leyland and Eicher Motors returned to IIMK campus to offer a variety of marketing and operations jobs. There were some new faces on the campus like Ma Foi Management Consultants. Madura Coats offered supply chain management jobs. National Kidney Foundation Singapore, the world renowned NPO (non-profit organization) also participated in IIMK’s campus placements for the first time.
