  • The maximum annual domestic salary offered by Mc Kinsey & Comp, while the maximum offer for an overseas job was by Deutsche Bank.

ISB Hyderabad

  • Follows Rolling Placement Procedure spread over 3 months timeframe.

  • Novartis chose ISB as the only B-school in India for recruitment.

  • Companies making highest salary offers were - Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Novartis, Johnson & Johnson.

  • Highest Indian Salary offered was Rs. 20.55 Lakhs, higher than any other offer at any Indian B-school.

  • Highest Overseas Salary offered was - US $ 151,768, an offer equaling Ivy League offers for the first time.

  • Maximum students opting for Consulting, and being offered leadership roles.

IIM Calcutta

  • Largest batch-size of all B-schools, comprising of 242 students.

  • Hosted a Student Recruiter Meet in October 2003, along the lines of Career Fairs held in major business schools abroad, the first such initiative taken by an Indian B-school.

  • Companies making highest salary offers were - PwC (19), Citibank (17), Cognizant Technology Solutions (17), ICICI Bank (17), HCL Technologies (12).

  • IIM Calcutta's premier status in Finance reinforced by placement of 33% students in this sector.

  • Daeyang Shipping and Club Mahindra recruited only from IIM Calcutta among all IIMs this year.

  • 13% increase in the Average Domestic Salary over last year, and 26% increase in the Highest Foreign Salary.

IIM Bangalore

  • 4 students opted to create new enterprises or to join their family business.

  • Largest recruiters were - Cognizant Technology Solutions (16 offers), Infosys (12), National Kidney Foundation Singapore (12), ICICI Bank (11), PwC (10).

  • Finance Sector claimed maximum students.

  • A substantial no. of students were placed through Lateral Placements.
