Placement 2005 at FMS Delhi: Snapshots from Heaven No. of Lateral offers - Huge increase compared to last year All the 18 lateral candidates had multiple offers from the lateral process. Some of the lateral candidates decided to sit for the placement process on the final placement day. It is still creditable that a campus with lower percentage of lateral candidates still manages salaries higher than campuses with huge number of lateral candidates as Lateral offers are much higher. No. of Pre Placement Offers - One of the highest success rates amongst all campuses In keeping with the increasing trend for companies to make Pre Placement offers to candidates based on their summer internship, FMS saw an astounding 35% of the batch being made PPO's and PPI's (Pre Placement Interviews). This is one of the highest across campuses. The Highest domestic salary on campus was from HSBC Bank through the PPO route. International Presence FMS, with the help of its global alumni community has attracted international companies and this year saw a host of such companies. GE FMP and IMLP recruited for the famous GE global training program to train candidates to take up leading positions throughout the GE group worldwide. L.N.Mittal group, visited campus for the first time for M&A advisory for positions across Europe. The Metdist Group, one of Europe's biggest financial conglomerates made an offer for an international position for the first time Citigroup recruited for its positions in Europe through Citibank International (TMEA). Deutsche Bank recruited for its biggest retail operations outside of Europe.
