SIBM Achieves Record Breaking Placements

IT & ITES: This year the biggest names of this sector visited the campus, the most prominent among them being Intel, IBM, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Infosys, HCL Group, Wipro, Mahindra British Telecom, Hewlett Packard, and Progeon. This sector had the distinction of having the highest number of offers with a total of 54 offers being made. Cognizant Technology Solutions made the highest number of offers at 13, which was closely followed by Infosys and Wipro at 10 and 9 respectively.

FMCG: The institute's reputation for being a strong ground for recruiters in this sector was proven once again with the major industry giants visiting the campus this year. Some of the prominent names on campus were GSK Consumer HealthCare, ITC Ltd., Marico Ltd., Asian Paints, Dabur India Ltd., Godrej Industries, Perfetti Van Melle, Cargill India Pvt. Ltd., Wipro Consumer Care while an offer was made by Coca Cola India in the form of a PPO.

Manufacturing & Automobile: A total of 21 offers were made by the companies in this sector. The major recruiters included Maruti Udyog Ltd., Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, Aditya Birla Group, Godrej and Boyce, Essar Group and Indian Oil Corporation Limited.

Campus Recruitment Programme 2006 also had representations from Consultancies, Advertising and Media with companies such as Avalon Consulting, KPMG, C B Richard Ellis, Leo Burnett, Entertainment Network India Limited (Radio Mirchi), Ananda Bazaar Patrika and Paradox Studios recruiting students.
