Objectives:

• To convey concepts, frameworks, and techniques to enable the modern organization to compete effectively in today’s rapidly changing global economy.

• To enable participants to view various functions of management from a senior manager’s perspective.

• To develop an outlook that would help integrate an organizational strategy with the functional strategies in areas such as manufacturing, marketing, finance, and human resources management.

• To sensitize participants to key contemporary concerns like internationalization of business, quality and customer orientation, corporate citizenship, and electronic commerce.

For: Senior executives of medium and large organizations who are above 35 years in age, have more than 10 years of managerial experience, are in a general management position reporting to top management, or are currently heading a functional department.

Contents: The programme is divided into several interdependent modules - business policy; computer and information management; economic environment; ethics in management; financial management; human resources management; management accounting and control; marketing management; operations management; organizational behaviour; stress management - each of which focuses on a different aspect or function of management from a senior management perspective.
