September 13-17, 2004
at ISB Campus, Hyderabad

Introduction: The aim of this programme is to introduce executives to the economic, financial, and managerial foundations underlying the development and refinement of corporate strategy in today’s global economy. Executives will be introduced to a body of analytical methods and tools that can be used to identify the key elements of corporate strategy, analyse industries and markets, develop and sustain competitive advantage, evaluate entry and exit decisions, assess mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, identity and commercialise intellectual property, and measure and manage corporate risk.

This programme is led by a faculty member from a world-renowned university- the University of Chicago. It provides a unique opportunity to learn how successful corporations from around the world have formulated, refined, and sometimes radically restructured their corporate strategies.

This programme has been carefully designed to provide a valuable learning experience by combining a variety of pedagogical approaches. The programme involves lectures, interactive discussions, mini-case analysis, problem solving and independent reading.
