Eye-Q raises Series C funding of $ 4.5 Million from Helion and Nexus

Eye-Q , a Gurgoan based multi-speciality eye hospital has raised third round of funding of $ 4.5 Million from existing investors, Helion Venture Partner and Nexus Venture Partners.

Eye-Q had raised funds from Helion vetures and Nexus ventures in October 2011 and by Song Investment Advisors, managed by Soros Economic Development Fund, Omidyar Network and Google in 2010.


The company started by Dr. Ajay Sharma and Mr. Rajat Goel in 2009 have over 25 branches spread across North India plans to build 100 hospitals over the next 5 years with a total investment of Rs.250 crores. Eye-Q provides quality eye care at affordable rates mainly in Tier-II and III cities.
