HackerRank raises Series B funding of $ 9.2 Million

HackerRank a technical recruiting platform has raised $ 9.2 Million from existing investors Khosla Ventures , Battery Ventures and other individual investors including Peeyush Ranjan, VP, Google; Greg Badros, formerly at Google and Facebook; and Dan Rubinstein, director (product management) at Facebook.

HackerRank had raised Series A funding from Khosla Ventures.

HackRank of Interview Street was founded by Harishankaran and Vivek Ravisankar in 2010. The company offers a SaaS based recruiting platform for screening technical candidates by testing them with programming. HackerRankX is an enterprise system for screening candidates. This will help the companies in identifying best programmers using custom coding challenges and contests. The company also encourages hackers to practice and improve on their skills. The company claims to have a community of 150,000 hackers using the programmes.
