Helpshift a CRM provider for mobile app and mobile websites has raised $ 10 Million from Intel Capital, Nexus Ventures and Visionnaire, a Silicon based early stage investor. The company will use the funds to expand to meet the explosive demand.
Helpshift had raised a seed capital of $ 3.2 Million from True ventures and Nexus Ventures in October 2012.
Helpshift a Pune and San Francisco based company was started by Abinash Tripathy and Baishampayan Ghose in 2012. The company has built an application ‘Helpshift’ which helps companies provide customer service for mobile apps and smart devices users. It provides a native mobile SDK (software development kit) that can be integrated into any mobile app to enable two-way communications, helping companies talk to their customers directly inside their apps. Helpshift delivers scable customer service for mobile apps and mobile websites. Helpshift helps the app developer to connect with the customer directly and solve his issues before the customer can rate the app negatively.
The company claims that Helpshift has been installed on over 150 million devices worldwide and is used by companies such as Wordpress, Circa, Flipboard and ModCloth.
