iTiffin an online meal service company raises $1 Million

Tapan Das and Ryan Fernando each with an investment of INR 10 lakhs along with investment of INR 1.5 crores from Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa started iTiffin in 2013 in Bangalore.
iTiffin provides balanced meal to corporate, school children and individuals.
iTiffin has raised $1 Million from Indian family office and plans to raise series A funding of $6 million shortly to expand its operations in Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. The company will also use the funds to set up 10 retail centres, upgrade its user interface and venture into mid-night segment. The company also plans to upgrade its kitchen and capacity to be able to cook 10 lakh meals a month.
iTiffin provides balanced meals with specified calorie count to health conscious working professional or a student. They have also started supplying tiffin boxes to students at lunch and break time. iTiffin is presently delivering 10,000 tiffins a day and has also tied up with 2 Corporates. The company Rs.1750 for one meal a day for 20 working days and Rs.5,000-6,000 per person for a 3 month package.
