The company will use the funds to create intelligence around pricing, user data, engine and mobiles.
TravelTriangle started by Sankalp Agarwal, Sanchit Garg and Prabhat Gupta in 2010 have created a platform for travellers to connect with local travel agents. The company has tied up with over 400 travel agents who have developed 30,000-40,000 itineraries. Customers can place their requirement, which will be sent to local travel agents. Every request generates multiple (3-4) quotes from travel agents. Customers can choose and customise as per their requirement and in bargain get the most competitive rates. The customers can then book the holiday through the site directly.
The company has customers from over 33 countries majority being Indians and it has already booked $ 3.5 Million in annual gross transaction value.
