Yupp TV raises $ 2.5 Million

YuppTV an Internet TV provider has raised $ 2.5 Million from serial entrepreneur and investor Sasi Reddy for a 10% stake, valuing the company at $ 25 Million.

YuppTV founded by Udaynandan Reddy in 2007 delivers internet TV provider, Catch-up TV and movies to Indian Diaspora across the globe. The programmes are available in 8 languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, Kannada and Malayalam. It delivers over 130 channels besides 3,000 on-demand videos and movies and live events.

Movies, TV serials, music etc can be watched anytime, anywhere on multiple internet enabled devices. The company has an option for users to watch the channels at their convenient time by clicking on the respective day icon to get a list of all programmes on catch-up. It stores videos upto 8 days of programming.
