Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP)

About the Test

Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a common written test for the admission to all Post-Graduate Institutes of Symbiosis International University [SIU] established under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 vide notification No.F.9.12/2001 U.3 of the Govt. of India.

It is a mandatory written test for admission into any Post-Graduate programme offered by the Constituent Institutes of SIU.

  • Symbiosis Centre of Management and Human Resource Development [SCMHRD]
  • Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies [SIMS]
  • Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management [SITM]
  • Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology [SCIT]
  • Symbiosis Institute of Geo-informatics [SIG]
  • Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management [SIOM]

  • Stages of Admission Procedure

    Stage 1: SNAP Test

  • Register online at www.snaptest.org

  • Upload a latest scanned photograph of own at the time of SNAP Online Registration

  • Follow the instructions for payment of Test fee of Rs. 1500/- on website www.snaptest.org

  • Any Changes in the online application form may be made only till the closing date of Registration, November 24, 2009. No change is permitted in any data in any of the categories after November 24, 2009

  • From December 7, 2009 onwards till December 20, 2009, print “Admit Card” from the website (www.snaptest.org)

  • Bring the Admit Card along with Photo Identity proof to the Test Center
    (Candidates should note that authenticated Admit Card is an important document without which the candidate will not be permitted to appear for further selection processes of the institutes. If the Admit card is lost, no duplicate Admit Card will be issued. It should be preserved till all processes are over)

  • Appear for the Test
    SNAP Score will remain valid for admission to all Post Graduate Programmes of SIU for the academic year of 2010-11.
