    • Pedagogy

    SPJIMR is not affiliated to any university and is completely autonomous. This status has given the institute the ability to utilize academic freedom to develop trend-setting educational programmes and pedagogic processes with long-term benefits for all stakeholders.

    The SPJIMR pedagogy involves:

  • Class room learning primarily involves Case Method of teaching coupled with lectures, industry presentations and concept based exercises
  • Field projects, industry study, live projects, internships, guest lectures and panel discussions
  • Learning by practice of management and administrative concepts
  • Guidance for developing requisite skills and attitude for improved administrative competencies through workshops and seminars
  • Self management by conducting programs like Gita Shibir
  • Emphasis on team work with initiatives like Personal Growth Lab
  • Assessment and Development of Managerial Potential (ADMAP), a unique program where participants participate in the actual functions of the institute, own up the process of learning and 'learn by doing' or 'by observing', theoretical inputs and by working on projects. It is based on 'doing-observing-feedback-reflecting- integrating- application' process
  • DOCC - Social projects to instill sensitivity towards the society and appreciate the need to contribute to the society
  • Abhyudaya - mentoring of financially under-privileged participants to develop mentoring skills

    • Eligibility (for all courses offered)

    1. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (2yrs)

  • Minimum 3 years of Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University in India or abroad
  • Minimum 85 percentile in CAT/XAT or a minimum score of 680 in GMAT

    • 2. Post Graduate Programme in Management (11 months)

  • Minimum 3 years of Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University in India or abroad
  • Minimum Work experience of 5 years after graduation

    • 3. Family Managed Business (2 years)

  • Minimum 3 years of Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University in India or abroad
  • A significant stake in the family business

    • 4. Executive Management Programme (EMP)

  • Minimum 3 years of Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University in India or abroad
  • Minimum 5 years work experience
  • A good track record
  • Support from the company to do the program
