The Business Quiz is one of the most popular event of Backwaters, and attracts participation from quizzers at the premier B-schools as well as the best corporate teams from around the country. United in their pursuit of trivia and interesting tidbits from the business world, these quiz enthusiasts battle it out during the course of the quiz, which includes audio-visual questions. The finals are conducted by a professional quizmaster.
The Debate is amongst the most keenly participated events of Backwaters, with the best minds across B-schools in the country vying for top honors by putting to test their debating skills on a stimulating topic.
The Informal Events at Backwaters are an opportunity for participants to let down their hair after a hard day's work and enjoy a few offbeat events such as Dumb Charades, Just-A-Minute (JAM), Paper Dances, Antakshari, Ad Mad and a number of quizzes and other fun events. These events are very popular with the students and also attract large audiences.
IIMK is the fifth Indian Institute of Management. Established in 1996 by the Government of India in collaboration with the Government of Kerala, it provides education, training, consulting and research facilities in management. IIMK is dedicated to offering world class programmes in management education. Its academic programmes encompass a range of long term full time diploma programmes such as the Post Graduate Programme in Management, and a number of short duration executive education programmes.
