My name is Ranjit Shankar and I am currently doing my MBA from Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai. Prior to this, I was working as a Software Engineer with Infosys for 2.5 years. My work involved software development for Telstra, Australia's leading telecom service provider. The domain was Operations Support Systems / Business Support Systems.

I did my B.E. from BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore. My academic performance has been above-average throughout. I secured 92% in Class 10th (SSLC) and 88.3% in Class 12th (PUC) and 70% in B.E.

I have represented my engineering college in chess tournaments and secured certificates. My interests include reading books on spirituality. Of late, I have realized that I am good at writing articles too. I love interacting with prospective students on forums like CoolAvenues.com and I believe in projecting the right image of my institute. I am a member of the Branding & Public Relations Committee of Great Lakes Institute of Management. I hope to leverage the potential association with CoolAvenues to project Great Lakes in a positive light and reach out to a wider audience.
