Job Description:

Reporting to: - Practice Head - Global Knowledge, Sales & Business Support Services.
Role: - Responsible for a high quality service delivery ensuring client satisfaction, internal process compliance and continuous process innovation; driving synergies and best practices sharing across the teams supporting diverse global stakeholders; driving people management including hiring, utilization, team motivation, training and competence building, and attrition.
Other Key Responsibilities: -

  • Help the team create and execute high impact Knowledge Initiatives for population of content against plan to ensure usage of most updated content with optimum usage.

  • Ensure enhanced visibility of the KM and its support functions for an improved customer acceptance, including effective communication to drive knowledge sharing culture in the group.

  • Ensure continuous process improvement with an ultimate objective of adding value to business, effectively and efficiently.

  • Ensuring formal, structured and high quality planning approach for the team towards providing knowledge management support as well as planning for key KM initiatives.

  • Ensure measurement and documentation of key performance metrics.

    Candidate Profile:

    Qualifications & Experience: -

  • MBA or Master’s degree from premier institutes.

  • An overall work experience of 8-10 years, of which 5-7 years should be in large multi-national company in the similar industry and related service line.

  • Experience of working with a significant share of global stakeholders.

  • Experience of managing self-managed and qualified individuals, across different geographical locations.

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of KM processes; a demonstrable track record of coming up with ideas in that space.
    Skills & Personal Characteristics: -
    Management

  • Accountability: Ability to establish in other team members a commitment to achieving results by making them accountable to the equal sharing of work, the regulating of their behavior and leading by managing in a situational specific manner. Done through influencing rather than directing.

  • Planning: Tendency to think over problem before taking action, understanding the dependencies and influencing parameters and managing the influences to achieve the objectives.

  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations with members within and outside the teams. Ability to understand and manage different perspectives on an issue, while using situation specific management skills to manage the team.

  • Networking Ability: Ability to build relationships and use them to accomplish the goals and objectives, ability to utilize informal communication channels.
    Intellect

  • A robust intellect balanced with emotional maturity.

  • Strong analytical skills and concept marketing skills.

  • Creative and innovative at leveraging optimum business value from the KM processes and systems.
    Communication

  • Good negotiation and presentation skills. Must have the credibility and maturity necessary to give high-quality input to senior management meetings internally, with other stakeholder and within the client base (internal).

  • Excellent interpersonal skills will be needed in order to build the strong relationships that will be critical to the success of this role.

  • Must be able to work with suppliers at all levels. Will have the gravitas, charisma and knowledge to be credible in all business situations.
