Responsibilities: - The candidate should have a very strong background in sales, accounts and team management. Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline are required. You will be responsible for the effectiveness of Gartner sales strategies in Govt. & Commercial Vertical and the focus on performance and delivery of results from your team. We seek a highly professional, confident and extremely well organised person who can deal with multiple projects, organisational complexity and work effectively in a high-pressure environment. You will have a thorough understanding of emerging issues and opportunities in the business environment and understand how these relate to trends and developments in the IT industry.
An inspiration to your team and a leader by example, you will coach them in the skill of explaining and selling Gartner value to our clients.

For this role, you are required to be a management professional with 10+ years’ sales leadership experience in a technology environment as well as demonstrated successful experience in leading and motivating diverse sales teams and practice professionals across the business units and geographies. The successful individual will be outcome focused, have solid coaching and business management skills, and have the ability to commit and implement bold changes.
Key attributes include strong market and opportunity analysis skills as well as high level presentation and proposal writing experience. Strong communication, planning, and influencing skills are essential. You will also be an intuitive listener, observer and possess keen insight into complex internal and external relationships.
