The Regional Sales Manager will report to Country Manager, and will be responsible for generating sales and profits, and building sales team.

The company is an Information Technology (IT) and Consumer Electronics (CE) reseller in Nehru Place, New Delhi, with close ties with an established 14-year-old U.S.-based reseller (ranked in the Top 500 U.S. resellers by the Value Added Reseller Magazine).

Candidate Profile:

The Regional Sales Manager must be an MBA in the mid-thirties with 7-10 years of hands-on selling experience to importers, wholesalers, distributors and traders. Candidate must have: -

  • Established relationships with key players (major buyers and sellers, appropriate functionaries in government, industry, banking and finance institutions, customs clearance agents, freight forwarders) especially in NCR.

  • Deep practical knowledge of IT and CE products, North India IT and CE markets especially customs duties, sales tax and VAT as applicable, proven ability to meet sales and profit targets, ability to build and motivate sales teams and demonstrated track record of meeting monthly sales targets.

  • Must be able to generate sales using the web.

  • Must be down-to-earth, high energy, practical problem solver without ego hang-ups.

  • Must be self-directed team player and willing to comply with weekly sales and profitability and other reporting requirements such as accounting.
