Work with Head of India Origination on revenue projections, head-count planning, and expense control
Pipeline Control

Liaise with bankers to get updates on transaction status
Finance / Tax

Work with office across the region on complex tax and accounting issues (Taiwan Withholding Tax, Indonesia Tax / finance Review, Korea Withholding and VAT Taxes)

Conduct monthly review of all expenses

Define and implement cost containment measures

Approval of selective T&E approvals and enforce T&E policies

Approval of vendor invoices

Management of deal related expenses

Work with Finance on transaction settlements

Assist with preparation of annual budget

Work with bankers on outstanding Accounts Receivables
Human Resources

Assisting with the hiring / on-boarding process of professionals

Evaluation and determine compensation for Secretaries

Coordinate training for secretarial staff

Manage headcount levels for administrative personnel
Technology

Assist with the planning for new technology initiatives / outages

Liaise and assist with the development of new Origination related technology initiatives

Coordinate with Technology on the roll-out of new applications in the region (Expense Manager, Ariba, Dealogic, etc.)

Manage technology related issues
Law & Compliance

Ensure that adequate controls are in place regarding: -

Oversee deal file management / maintenance

Chinese Wall issues (e-mail blocking issues)

Oversee anti money laundering provisions are met

Perform trade clearances / outside interests / outside accounts

Involved with FCPA clearances

Work with regional OGC offices on regulatory issues and visits from regulators

Liaise with Origination counsel on various deal related issues
Manage Support Resources

Day-to-day management of secretaries Hong Kong and Korea

Work closely with regional office Office Managers to ensure consistency of controls across Asia
Meetings & Off Sites

Plan and manage offsite meetings

Plan and manage client events
Miscellaneous

Manage space plans and work with Real Estate and Corporate Services to coordinate office restack

Support global business managers

Oversight of Regional Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
